Russia claimed it captured the village of Lozuvatske in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region as part of its advance towards Pokrovsk. Ukrainian forces reportedly halted 37 Russian attacks in the area. Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, indicated Kyiv’s readiness to negotiate with Russia if talks were conducted in good faith during his visit to China this week.
